What we do

Publishing solutions for every author

Take the whole package, or just the piece your book is missing. Every project is quoted on its own.

1

Amazon KDP publishing

Account setup, categories, keywords, pricing, the upload itself and the checks before you hit publish. You end up live on Kindle and in paperback, with the listing built to be found.

2

Ebook production

A proper reflowable EPUB, not a Word file renamed. Working table of contents, clean chapter breaks, and it looks right on a phone, a Kindle and a tablet.

3

Editing & proofreading

Structural notes first, then line editing, then a proofread on the final laid-out pages. Your voice stays yours — we are not here to rewrite you.

4

Cover design

We read the book before we design. The cover has to work at thumbnail size in Amazon search as well as it does in someone's hands — most do not.

5

Interior formatting

Typeset like a real book: chapter openers, running heads, page numbers, correct trim size and bleed, and a print PDF that passes KDP's checks first time.

6

Paperback & hardcover

Print-on-demand through Amazon, so there is no stock to buy and nothing sitting in your garage. Trim size, paper and finish chosen to suit the book.

How it works

Published in three steps

No jargon, no surprises, and nothing goes live until you say so.

1

Send the manuscript

Any genre, any state — a finished draft, a half-finished one, or a book already on Amazon that is not selling. We read it and tell you honestly what it needs.

2

Edit, design, format

Editing, then the cover, then the interior. You see and approve each one. Nothing moves to the next stage until you are happy with the last.

3

Publish & go live

We set up the listing, upload the files, check the proofs and press publish with you. You keep the rights, the royalties and full creative control.

Our portfolio

Results that speak for themselves

Editing, proofreading and formatting — the same manuscript before and after it goes through our desk.

Memoir

Before Memoir manuscript before formatting: plain typeface, ragged lines, no chapter design, no page numbers.
After The same memoir pages typeset: chapter title, justified text, indented paragraphs and page numbers.

Business & leadership

Before Business manuscript before formatting: flat headings and dashes used as bullets.
After The same business pages typeset: letterspaced subheads and a properly set bulleted list.

Fiction

Before Novel manuscript before formatting: a blank line standing in for a scene break.
After The same novel pages typeset: drop capital, justified text and a centred scene break.

Sample chapters set to our interior standard. Same words — typeset, paginated and ready for print and Kindle.

Covers & finish

Our publishing portfolio

Every book leaves us with a cover built for a thumbnail on Amazon and an interior built for a reader's hands.

Cover designs shown are examples of our design and formatting standards.

Rights & royalties

Your book, your money, your name on it

This is the part most authors ask about first, so here it is plainly. The book is published under your own Amazon KDP account. Amazon pays your royalties into your bank, monthly, without passing through us. We charge for the work we do and nothing after that.

  • Kindle ebook — live in every Amazon marketplace, worldwide.
  • Paperback — printed on demand, so you buy no stock.
  • Hardcover — where Amazon offers it for your trim size.
  • You set the price and you can change it whenever you like.
  • You own the ISBN and the copyright stays in your name.
  • Want wider distribution — Apple Books, Kobo, bookshops? Ask and we'll quote it.

Questions

Looking for answers?

How does publishing on Amazon actually work?

Amazon KDP lets anyone publish, which is why the store is full of books that look self-published. The work is in what happens before the upload: the edit, the cover, the interior files, the categories and keywords, and the price. We do that part, set the listing up with you, check the proofs, and publish. The account stays yours throughout.

Do I keep the rights and the royalties?

Yes, all of both. You are the author and the copyright holder, the ISBN is in your name, and Amazon pays your royalties directly to you. We are paid for the work, not out of your sales, and we take no percentage of anything the book earns.

What is included, and what does it cost?

It depends on what the book still needs. A clean, finished manuscript that needs a cover, an interior and the KDP setup is a very different job from one that needs a structural edit first. Send it over and you will get an itemised quote with the scope spelled out, so you can take all of it or just a piece. No call is required to get a price.

Can I use my own cover idea?

Of course. Bring a sketch, a reference, a photograph or a fully formed idea and we will work from it. If you have nothing, we read the book and come back with concepts. Either way you see drafts and you sign the cover off before anything is built around it.

Where will my book be available?

On Amazon, in every marketplace Amazon operates — as a Kindle ebook and as a paperback printed on demand, plus hardcover where Amazon supports your trim size. If you want it in Apple Books, Kobo or physical bookshops as well, say so at the quote stage and we will price that in rather than promise it for free.

How long does it take?

From a finished, edited manuscript, cover and interior work is usually the bulk of the time, and Amazon itself reviews a new title in about three days. A book that still needs editing takes longer, and how fast you review drafts matters as much as how fast we work. You get a realistic date with your quote, before you commit to anything.
